What Jovies does at 5 months:
-Blows raspberries.
-Screams....a happy scream...this will be the only time in her life where she can get away with that.
-Rolls over from tummy to back (but not yet from back to tummy).
-Stands for long periods of time while holding one of your fingers in each of her hands for balance.
-Can stand holding on to couch by herself for ten seconds or so.
-Giggles when you open your mouth wide and say "ahhhhh". And if you're close she'll try to put her fingers in your mouth.
-Smiles when you smile at her, even if across the room twenty feet away.
-Grabs for anything you put in front of her. She puts both arms out wide and then brings them together and pulls in. Sometimes she does it so fast that she'll be trying to pull something in before it's even close enough to reach.
-When sitting on your lap she will tilt her head back and chin up just so she can look at you.
-Loves looking at the pictures in books when you read to her.
-If someone is holding her and your face is close to hers she'll look at you and reach out to touch your face.
