She's here!!! - Jovie Taylor Bjorn

Lindsay started having strong contractions this morning at about 4:30. Over the next couple hours they got stronger and stronger to the point that we felt that today was the day! So we got the hospital at about 7am. She was dilated to a 4 at that point. It went pretty slow at first and the doctor broke her water. Then a while later she went from almost a 5 to a 9 in just under 2 hours. Actual pushing time was probably less than a half hour. Our baby girl was born at 2:19pm. She is 7 lbs 7 ounces and 20 inches long. We'll have details and pictures later on. We are so excited that this time has finally come!! The past couple of weeks just seemed to be dragging on. But now here we are parents for the first time! We of course have no idea what we're doing, but we're excited!!
